The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:
  • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics for example your name, delivery and billing addresses – to deliver your order(s).
  • Contact telephone number – send you service messages by text (courier delivery time slot) and customer service.
  • Email address – to send you order updates. If you create an account with us, this will be your username
  • Date of birth – to confirm you are over the age of 13 and we can lawfully process your data without parental consent.
  • Payment details are handled by our payment providers (e.g. Paypal Services, Google Pay), these will not be seen by us

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
  • For the purposes of fulfilling your orders and upholding our customer service obligations
  • We use the information that you have given us in order to track trends and how users are accessing our services. Information used in this way will not include any personally identifying information and only be used for the purpose of improving our services.

We may share this information where we are legally required to, for example to law enforcement for the purposes of detecting fraud.

Your information is securely stored on our servers for as long as we need it to fulfill any orders you make with Board Game Vikings.
We keep your contact and delivery details for 12 months after your last order is complete in order to allow for problems or returns. We will then dispose your information by removing it from our servers.
